About Bullet Casting

Besides letting you save money and control the entire production process to create exactly the quality, size and style of bullets you want, no matter what kind of firearm you have, bullet casting is just plain fun. There’s something about overseeing a project from start to finish that pleases most folks. Whether you're a veteran at this great hobby or are just starting out, SCHEELS can help you do it right with our bullet casting lead production pots and ladles.

It’s possible, of course, to cast your own bullets the old-fashioned way, with a source of heat, such as a stove, a cast iron pot and a lead spoon. But it’s a heck of a lot safer and more efficient to use equipment that’s been designed specifically for bullet casting, and SCHEELS has quality bullet-casting products made in the U.S.A. by Lee, an industry leader.

Our production pots, for instance, are large, deep and capable of holding up to 10 pounds of lead. Running on 110 volts, these pots are also energy misers and very efficient. For skimming and stirring your metal, we also carry lead ladles specifically made for bullet casting. These ladles are just the right size and can be used easily by left or right handers.
