I’ve played outdoor and indoor basketball in these and it really felt like I was wearing shorts with how breathable and flexible these pants are. I was able to move freely without the fear of something ripping. \n\nThey fit well (I wear medium with a 30in waist) and have a velvet/dry fit comfort to them. Perfect for casual outings in warm to hot weather. I highly recommend these for running, basketball, or skateboarding. The zip pocket on the right securely fits my phone while I run and the mini pocket on the left is perfect to carry my headphone case securely. The only con I can say is that after a wash, they feel a bit more papery/rough. On a windy day, I could feel the breeze cutting through more than I expected. Also, while the material is comfortable, it started to pill a little after a few washes, especially around the thighs. It’s nothing major, but it’s worth noting if you’re looking for long-term durability. It feels like wearing pajama like swears that look like relaxed fit pants. The pants run a little long (since they aren't sized by inches) but you can easily roll them up or hem them permanently. My favorite thing about these pants are that they are stylistically more appropriately fitting to wear out in public while being this comfortable. They aren't something you could wear as general professional attire though. They somehow managed to always feel cool, even when the rest of me was hot, and at no point did I feel a damp spot from sweat. I worried at first that they were going to be restrictive while skating, but they had a good amount of stretch to them, and the pants stayed firmly on my hips, even with all the leg movement. Fashion wise again I was quite surprised. The little fake zipper flap area around the crotch was enough to make it look like I wasn't just wearing sweats out of the house. I am surprised that a little thing like that could make such a difference. Design wise I would no change anything. They drawstring is well hidden inside, the material both looks and feels comfortable and stylish without looking tacky. The fabric is soft and thick, making them perfect for days on the colder side. The tapered leg keeps me from tripping over myself while on the court while the drawstring (interior) waistband makes tightening and loosening the pants a breeze. The two features I like most are the numerous pockets (front slit pockets, hidden zipper pocket in right slit pocket, and back zipper pocket) and the front bungee loop. Anyone who has ever sat down and had the contents of their pants pocket slide out can appreciate the security of a zipper pocket!
