They are phenomenal wading boots and built for the long haul. I’m a guide and everyday fisherman so they get used 300 days a year minimum through some of the worst terrain and they have never gave me any doubts and are super comfy. I have tried about every brand of boot and either version of the kites I would recommend to anyone over any boots and that’s including some big names such as Patagonia or simms and I’ve tried them all.
