I was very hesitant on spending the amount of money on these shoes. I was told Hoka are super comfortable , but that they just don't last very long. I will agree that these are probably the most comfortable shoe I have spent money on. As for how long they will last , time will tell. A nurse told me they get 6 months out of Hoka shoes and that's why they stopped buying them because of that. I will see. The tip and front upper started coming off 2 months ago, so it only lasted 4 months. I bought a shoe glue repair kit and when I started to glue them back together I realized the entire forefoot wasn't glued. The upper and sole had a void so I'm guessing that's why they failed so quickly? For shoes that cost almost $200 I expected more. Wore them for 3 months and developed severe leg/knee/hip/groin pain. 2 days ago I switched up shoes as a last ditch effort to see what would happen. Boom, no pain at work. So relieved but feel a bit robbed wishing I could return them. I could never find the right pair of work shoes! I would always had to put a supportive insole in every show I bought. My feet would hurt and legs ache during long hours at the salon. I heard of Hoka through clients, always passed on buying cause of the price. When I finally gave in, these shoes are so comfy that my feet and legs didn't hurt no more! My only complaint is, because if's made of leather, there is no ventilation! My feet get warm and a bit moist. Foot powder helps. I've had them for a while now that the stitching has gone out on my left shoe.
