Something that bothers me is I got one of the pairs with very fuzzy furry suede and it’s really terrible to take care of them. Anytime I step on trail, I’m getting moss, twigs, leaves, grass, etc and even one time a huge Yellowjacket tangled into the fluff. And it’s pretty impossible to get all that stuff off the shoes, with many tools and brushes I’ve struggled. Keen was not helpful when I reached out for suggestions and help about how to keep these shoes from becoming filthy every single time I wear them, and I got generic and unhelpful answers. They were super comfortable out of the box, but within two weeks of city walking and a few short hikes they started to fall apart. The rubber on the toes is peeling and the soles are coming apart on the heels. The black dye from the tongue and/or stitching also bled onto the suede after they got a little wet. I've also gotten compliments on them and the pink shoelaces are a nice touch. First, straight out of the box they are super comfortable. I tested them on a two mile walk and my feet felt supported, cushioned, and comfortable. \nSecond, they provide excellent traction. I've walked on pavement, gravel, grass, and dirt while wrangling a large puppy and have had no slipping. (67 YO, gotta avoid slips!) \nThird, they're easy to clean. Yes, even this light color. Dust and dirt come off by smacking the soles together. I've worn them through wet grass and light rain with zero problems. \nFourth, and final, they are so cute and versatile! I was expecting a sturdy sneaker. I did not expect the classic lines and look. I thought I'd change out the pink laces for the black ones, however, the pink laces are just a hint of pink and don't distract. I've worn them with joggers, leggings, jeans, and dress pants. These shoes have not lasted two months and one five mile hike. They are falling apart. It breaks my heart because they’re comfy, but the quality of Keen shoes are abysmal for outdoor trekking. I’ve worn the sandals for years and they hardly last a year anymore without breaking. The foam on these shoes has scraped away. The leather is fraying. The rubber on the tip of the toes is coming off. Absolutely terrible and sad. Grateful I bought them somewhere with a solid return policy.
