I had a pair of Glycerin 19 and love them, but these take comfort to a new level. By design, they propel you forward and the cushion is almost springy, so walking is nearly effortless. I was concerned that with that much height of the cushion they might be unstable, but that is of no concerned. They were beyond great! Very responsive and plush at the same time. Easily a shoe I’d consider being worth 200$ So naturally when I saw them on sale I bought them. However the shoes I got are much more stiff than I remember and definitely less responsive… they also don’t give like in the video above. I have talked to Brooks about it already and they are of course willing to uphold their 90 day return policy. During the actual runs with these, they felt great. After was the Problem for my feet. Most of my runs are ‘easy’ runs at about a 10 minute per mile pace, but these shoes increase my pace to under 9 minutes with no perceived increase in effort. Very stable as well. Happy to have added this shoe to my road rotation. Very comfortable upper. Normally a size 10, but went with a 10.5 for some extra room in the toes. Coming from Asics Gel Nimbus 27 these dont feel too bulky or heavy to me.
