I've had 3 previous pairs that I loved to wear for longer distances. Unfortunately the 17s did not suffice and I'm returning. There is just too much padding and cushion, I feel like there is no room for my foot inside. The tongue is padded, the sides are overly padded. I did love the honeydew color and these fit true to fit (minus the extra padding). I have had several pairs of Ghost 15 and 16 and they are way better than the 17. I only wear Brooks but this 17 hurts my right heel. I think the shoe may be defective. I think Brooks is trying to hard to be like Hoka with the 17. The toe box in 17 is too narrow and I wear a 7 wide. This needs a redesign stat!
