The 17s are causing blisters on the outside of my big toe on long runs, though -- had to give up after putting about 50 miles on these and order a pair of 16s for an upcoming race. Nothing but love for every other pair. Ever since ghost 16, they seem to have reduced the amount of material on the upper part of the shoe, so you really have to tighten the laces hard to get it snug which hurts the top part of my feet. Whatever they changed, it hurts my feet. It just feels really narrow to me. When I first put them on, the shoes feel like they are pinching the balls of my feet. It feels that way for a little while on my run, but gets better. I am not an athlete I am a 73 year old man that has had both knees replaced and who walks 22 minutes every other day. I noticed my surgeon was wearing them so I asked his opinion regarding the shoes. He raved on and on about the brand and I've been happily wearing them since. I love the structure and support I've experienced from each pair. The Ghost 17 is the most comfortable shoes (not just sneakers; shoes) I've ever worn.
