I saw that these boots use “waterproof materials” and did not specify animal leather like many of Sorel’s other boots. Just to be sure, I contacted customer service chat and had to ask three times whether this specific style uses any animal materials. (The first two times I asked they told me that some Sorel products are vegan and some are not. I asked if I was speaking to an actual human and they said yes.) I didn’t notice until after I wore them a few times that the material sticker on the inside of the tongue says there’s animal leather in the upper material.
