She had never seen the classic style before but loves that they look “retro.” As a very style conscious 6th grader, she is quick to pair them with baggy jeans and oversized sweatshirts. The all-white shoes are versatile and can be worn with any color combination. She also notes that they were quick to be broken in and are comfortable to wear throughout the school day. \n\nFit wise, my daughter thought they ran a little more narrow than other Nike shoes. This is something to definitely consider for children with a little wider feet. She was able to overcome the narrowness feeling by simply loosening up the laces all the way down to the toe box. A half size up from her normal size would have likely solved the problem.\n\nThe Nike Cortez shoe is a style that every one of all ages should own. Their simple design allows them to stand the test of time and outlast the trends.
