I made the mistake of wearing this to the gym today to do HIIT. The sweat made the shirt very heavy and wet and cold, it was not a comfortable experience. BUT, outside of the gym context, I think the material used is very solid and feels appropriate for the price of the garment. It's a cotton blend and the weight of the fabric is on the heavy side. I bought size XL Tall, and I washed and dried the shirt after trying it on. The shirt feels 1-2 sizes smaller after taking it out of the dryer.
