With a generous cut that looks stylish without feeling bulky, I felt like I was wearing a warm hug. The elastic on the cuffs and the bottom ensure that the sweater will stay where you want it, without feeling like you are being strangled. It fit great, and with the super soft sweater material on the inside it just made me want it to be cold weather already! The design is minimalist, but the unique texture of the fabric on the outside saves it from being boring and instead makes it an elevated neutral that will be a backbone for my winter wardrobe. The fabric feels durable and well made. Super soft on the inside (which may be my favorite thing about this sweater) and slightly rougher texture on the outside. The only thing I didn't love was the mock turtleneck. I may just have a short neck, but the top of the mock neck kept hitting me right under the chin in a way that I didn't love. Folding the top over solved that problem for me. So right off the bat, I would say this piece could be a unisex style both feminine chic and masculine cool. \n\nThe outside texture immediately made me think of the classic boiled wool jackets. While the inside was as soft as a fleece but thinner than a fleece. Perfect weight for an early fall day. I have been wearing it for the mornings dog walks with temps in the high 50’s and been warm but still cool. \n\nI am 5’8” and weight 250, with the weight mostly in my belly and thighs. I have this in an XL and it fit perfectly in all the important places. I was a bit worried it would give me that potato sack look but it didn’t. I will note- the mock turtleneck part was a little tight not as loose as the rest of the sweater I took off half a star for this reason. My son who is 6’ and 135lb wore the XL and he love the baggy looseness to it and had no problem with the mock neck. \n\nThe color is not white but not grey. I would not pair this with a white skirt as it would be rather missed matched. One can think of it as an extremely light light grey/white but more on the white side.\n\nWashing it was where I took off another half Star. I always read the instructions the first time and hope I remember it the rest of the time. To wash, you must turn it inside out. If you’re not a careful washer beware. I also could tell what the drying instructions really were. I did a delicate dry once and then hung it to finish drying. With Nike gear I usually don’t think this hard for washing this the half star off. But hey, if you are better at laundry instructions than I am, this won’t be your problem. \n\nOverall, I LOVE THIS SWEATER. My son maybe can borrow it but I doubt it. I get quite a few complements when wearing it. For reference I am 5’8” and wear size 8/10. I like that you can fold the mock neck up or down to create a more versatile look.
