I like to rip baseline shots in tennis, so I wanted the same in Pickleball, albeit still with enough control for dink and dunk volleying. Researching reviews of paddles with lots of pop, I was referred to the Perseus Pro IV, which was said to be a great choice for tennis players turning to Pickleball. So with Scheels great return policy, I bought one in the 14mm size. As soon as I tried it, I knew I wasn't returning it. If you're a decent baseline tennis player trying out Pickleball, this may be the paddle for you. You can rip shots from the baseline with this thing and yet it has sufficient control up by the net.
