I am an avid upland bird hunter and am out in any and all conditions. The venting in these pants is tremendous for warm weather. The ankle gaiters keep the junk out. Tested for 9 days out hunting. For me they are too warm until you hit 60 degrees , lower than that they are perfect. Just above freezing I wore light long underwear. Love the fit. The expandable waist allows for long underwear and heavier shirts. Built in gators are nice. Spent some hours sitting on a beaver dam in rain and didn't get wet. Windproof as well.
