I wear a 9 in western boots, 10 in tennis shoes - I bought a 10 and they fit perfect. Have been put to the test in SD, NE, and WI. Basically no breakin period with these. They seem to be a very solid boot so far. I like the way the sole helps you have a natural roll off when stepping. So far, so good. The only negative thing I have to say is, for the price, they could have included longer laces. Would be a great boot for flatlands and hills, but not a boot for rocky chukar hills. I have two early season hikes in them and the leather is already quite scuffed up. A full rubber Rand would probably help with this. Otherwise, for moderate terrain, these would be great.
