On the buckle there is a narrow opening and a wide opening. When looping the belt through the first opening, it appears wider that the second opening that the belt tucks into. The belt slips because there is no friction with a wide opening. It should be going through the narrow opening first, which would cause more friction. Presumably the wide opening is there because there are two pieces of belt that have to go through it, but it's on the wrong side. \n\nTurn the belt inside out and you will see it works better. It's a manufacturing defect. They just need to turn the buckle the other
