You can sit down, THEN start pedaling. Pedaling is easy. I'm still learning the gears. I feel in control and it is a JOY to ride. I can reach the ground so I feel stable when I stop. I don't have to stand up and stop. They call it \"Flat Foot Technology\". I call it OLD FASHIONED FUN.
