Sadly, my cat got too happy on my legs one day and claw-punctured holes in the knee that slowly worsened over time. Went back to Kuhl and bought the same Renegade style/size/color... sadly while similar, the new pair looks pretty similar in style/color but the fabric doesn't look or feel quite the same... more stretch and thinner. Had kinda wished Kuhl just made the exact same pant. Took them on a trip to Iceland and they moved great while I was climbing over rocks, walking up to glaciers and waterfalls. I tripped on one excursion and they got very muddy but the washed off so easily in the shower later and I was able to wear them again. They dry quick and wear great. I used the side zippered pocket for my wallet. Wore it on Jungfrau Mountain in Switzerland in 30 degree weather but not for long periods of time (I would layer if for longer). Not a fan of the velcro on the back pockets so I hardly used them. If they were zippered, that would be ideal. The phone drop pocket in is awesome. I used it all the time. I have directed many friends to the brand. Unfortunately, the two pair of Renegade pants I recently ordered were different than the great Kuhl Renegade pants I already own. These two new pair appeared to be made of a lighter and flimsier material, which had a \"plastic-like\" feel and a highly wrinkled appearance - I was disappointed. I compared them side to side with the Renegades I already own, and they were not the same. What I wanted was two more pair exactly like the Kuhl Renegades I own and like (especially the fabric). I thought these two new pair were a poor substitute, and I returned them. It's sad when companies will take a good product and decide to downgrade the quality.
