I wade along small streams and usually walk 2-5 kilometres per trip. Within 10-15 trips the first boa lace was torn to pieces. I replaced it, which is quite expensive and bothersome compared to ordinary laces. He has said out of all the boots, this boot tops his list. He really likes the BOA system and the ease of getting in and out of the boot. So far, the boot is holding up and he has had zero problems with the BOA.
