After a couple of deer, the die would become clogged with connective tissue. It just wouldn't grind any longer. I spoke with a LEM CS representative and he told me the issue. I MUST use only 1 grinding knife PER die and use it on only 1 side of the die! Do not use 1 grinding knife with multiple dies! The knife and it's die will work together, but not on another die. I bought 2 new knives and 2 new dies. I've followed his advice with amazing results!
