It worked great in that there is some stretch and shock absorption. Felt no jerkiness in the boat, and I didn't snap any necks. Granted, this was in a 16' Lund with a 50 HP Evinrude Etec, but, they caught air. So, I put the rope through a workout. After only one use, I am happy with it.
