My one minor issue was a reel seat that rotated which I needed to fix with a screw but thatâ€™s it. Used it about 4 times in the span of 6 months. Just a few weeks ago I noticed the split grip was moving by itself (kind of like spinning so every time I would cast, the whole rod would rotate around the cork). Anyways, called St. Croix and they said it was an internal glue issue. $50 to replace the rod. This is the second rod Iâ€™ve had to replace. First rod was my fault as I tried to swing a fluke over a boat rail.
