Took them to Glacier for a series of 10 to 14 miles hikes with 1600 to 2400 foot vertical. By the end of the third day, I couldn’t walk without pain and my ankles were swollen. Iced the ankles and took a day off. Day 5, I switched back to my tried-and-true Merrill boots - no more problems.
