We got this after our 16 month old passed from SUCD and it has given us piece of mind for our living child. The alarms are pretty accurate and don't happen to frequently. The most common is the yellow alarm for placement. I appreciate as a healthcare professional who is used to hospital grade monitoring that the monitoring it very easy to set up and accurate. The camera is great because you can watch it on your phone. My only complaint is I can't do anything else on my phone. You can probably get a tablet device to monitor and that would solve this issue. We had an issue with the cord that impacted the camera and contacted customer service. They were able to help fix our issues and were so easy to work with. Overall, I have been happy with this device and camera. The great customer service also added to my overall great experience. I have terrible anxiety and I couldn’t sleep when my first son was first born. Then entered the Owlet MY HERO to a restful sleep. I was finally able to sleep without constant fear of my son not breathing. This tiny device saved my son so many times when slight mishaps would happen: he would roll over on his belly, etc. it also helped notify us that he needed to go to the hospital when he had severe croup and wasn’t getting enough oxygen. I have used the owlet with all my children and will continue to do so and recommend it to all my family and friends. I cannot say enough good things about this product and the customer service. Even after our youngest outgrew the sock, the camera continues to function as a great monitor in our boys' room, providing helpful temperature and humidity data. My only minor wish is for a separate way to view the temperature, but app notifications work well enough. \r\n\r\nOverall, we are very pleased. The Owlet DUO with CAM 2 offers excellent long-term value, lasting through multiple children and converting into a reliable room monitor. The app and camera are sometimes glitchy but nothing major.
