Yields a very nice color to the smoked items on the pellet grill. Are use it as the first covering on everything meat related. I then add various other rubs depending on what I am cooking. So far I’ve tried it on pork, beef, salmon, and chicken. Excellent taste was achieved on all of them. Was very disappointed that the Scheels store in Bismarck did not carry this particular item. I drove 110 miles to Minot to pick it up. It seems as if Scheels could do something a little more in the line of customer service to get it into the local store without charging me an exorbitant
