I like the weight, it feels like it's made well. Additionally, this type of binoculars was recommended to us by state park rangers, not only for the quality but also for the lifetime warranty. \nI didn't give it four stars because of the price - it certainly was less expensive than buying directly from Vortex, but it was still quite expensive. \nI hope I can report on how the use goes in the I need that because of my work with bugs and other small invertebrates. Unfortunately, the focus on these does not get any closer than 6.5 feet. This might seem like a small difference but it actually is quite significant.
