It is a great addition to our other Stihl products, both electric and gas powered. My next purchase may be the electric blower. I edged my drive and walkway for a total of 150 feet and the blade came flying off into my neighbors yard. It was like a ninja star shot out of a cannon. Had someone been in the way, it would have certainly maimed or killed them. \n\nI took the product back to Howard Brothers and asked that they simply replace it as I was not comfortable using that unit. The service poor even though they admitted it was improperly assembled from the factory or at their store. \n\nI bought Stihl because I believe in the power of American brands, but this has been a very disappointing product and experience. Product is great for what it is. Only thing is I think I rather have straight shaft but that is just preference issue. It has worked awesome until it broke. Went to the shop one day and found the nut that secured the blade was laying on the floor. The threaded shaft had snapped off inside the nut. I brought it back to ace hardware where it was purchased and they would not honor the warranty and told me the replacement parts and labor would cost the same as a new unit. I have taken it to the shop several times to have it repaired but it still falls out.
