They are light and easy for the kids to use. We haven't done miles and miles yet, so not sure how well they will hold up to repeated use. I'm a big guy, 6'1\" and 280lbs and they held me up pretty good. Only issue was the rear boot strap just barely fit over my size 13 boot. It wasn't even in a notch anymore, just as big as it would go. So if you have a boot over size 13 these won't fit. We have 1 Larger person and 1 Medium and the snowshoes worked great for both. Good workout and adventure. We look forward to using in the future and they are easy to store for the summer. We used them for at least 10 adventures in the short amount of time we had snow and they held up well.
