The different modes really helps the different atmospheres. I bought them about 6 mts ago and kept having issues so i bought another pair which did the same - a ping would go off in one of the muffs and they would shut off and not turn back on for some time. I contacted Walker's who said to send them back (at my cost) - took nearly 8 weeks or more to get replacement but at least the honored and helped out with warranty.
