If you are just trimming a lawn I would give it a \"5\" but if you have to trim around anything the blades wear down very fast. Have to change out the blades after each use which I have down to a science now after doing it a few times. BIG MISTAKE. The kick back when you hit a wall or tree is wicked. And the worse part is replacing the worn blades. Extremely difficult to get the plate off.
