It ripped at the seam where the brim meets the top within ~2 months of owning it. We were able to use it a handful of times, until it was completely covered in mold. I mean less than a handful of uses. The hat never got wet, but we live in Florida. The humidity is wild. \n\nI reached out to customer service and they offered 20 % off instead of a refund. Which I feel is wrong, considering the price tag of these hats. \n\nIf you make a product, regardless of the material you should stand behind it. A sun hat should be able to withstand the elements of the sun and heat. It’s a straw hat and quality seems decent but nothing about it feels premium. It feels like the kind of hat you’d get for $20-something at a tourist shop near the beach. I am sure it will do the job though and it looks nice. My biggest gripe is that the main tag was punched through the brim, leaving two puncture holes in the straw and UV material.
