Was excited to try this years version of this glove. Last seasons was an amazing product and own several. What dramatic change in fit and feel. Entry into the glove in my size M was almost impossible. Two hand effort at minimum. Once the hand is inside the fingers are long, the palm feels hard and lacks the previous models dexterity. Tried the L and entry and fit was only slightly roomier. The Velcro strap at wrist was unnecessary and an imposition. Huge Arc’teryx fan. Don’t understand what feedback the product team responded to but it took a great product and a certain sale to pushing me to purchase another brands product. I also judge glove dexterity by whether I can extend my thumb all the way back without the glove material stopping it. I have worn them into a walk-in freezer and rearranged the shelves. I know the quality and the finish are there, they are going to be a great glove for cold weather hiking and any outdoor activity. The leather on the palms is top notch, you can fast rope with it or comfortably adjust your kit in freezing conditions.
