The insole is a flimsy piece of 1/8\" foam. Uncomfortable and no arch support, unlike my ASICS GT-1000 (which are very comfortable). I will have to buy better quality insoles for this sneaker. These shoes first came out in 2010 and they offer the best arch support and fit that I've ever had of all of the Asics that I've owned over the years. In fact, I still own a GT-2150 pair from 15 years ago that hasn't lost its arch support. A very well-built shoe! This is by far, my favorite model of the Asics brand. I bought 2 pairs in a half size difference. Decided not to keep either so return both of them in the original box that was sent to me with one return label. Asics claims that I only returned one pair. I’ve heard other stories of horrible customer service from them and similar things happening to others. Asics only cares about money and not people. They accused me of lying and said I only put one pair in the box.
