Was room with lots of storage and no problems keeping us dry. The only changes I would make is more room and better set up of the rain fly so that you can keep more covered better and unzip it easier with less water getting into the area in front of the tent. While relatively heavy for backpacking, it's still a manageable weight and easily stuff-able into a pack. Super easy to set up for it being the first time and in the dark. Plenty of space inside for two average to tall people and a 60 lb golden retriever. Everything about it is great except for the zippers. We have only used it one time and they were sticky and straining from the get-go. The fabric around them is also already starting to fray. I have had tents from all kinds of outdoor brands and this was really unexpected from Big Agnes. They are excellent for 2 people, tall people included. I love the dual door and vestibule for group use. They aren't the lightest, but they are durable which is one reason we bought them. They've lasted us over 5 years. It is a very snug fit for 3 people, which is expected from a backpacking tent. If you want a roomy 2 person tent, this will do the job. I sleep 3 deep in this tent multiple times a year. Able to sort of make it work next 2 nights by put it info the footprint hole. Sent back to BA to repair at no cost, but with that we don't feel it \"reliable\" quality goes. This however is one of the cheaper free standing tent on the market that is backpacking doable, of course not ultralight light but I have ultralight wallet. Got this on sale for less than $150. Really, it's the poles. What would be great is if BA offered pole upgrades. The tent is fine, a bit bulky, but when two people and a dog go it fits you fine. I would love it if I could pay an extra hundred or so now to shave off 75% of the weight of the poles- which are outrageously heavy! Maybe I am spoiled, I had the jack rabbit 3 for years (back when it was free standing and still only 3 lbs). This thing is twice as heavy and a little less space. It's pretty cheap - clearances for around $200 (compared to the jack rabbit at $600).
