I get it home and it no longer comes with a cable, just bluetooth, and an app. And guess what? The APP doesnt work with my Samsung Galaxy G3,G4,G5, or my Kyocera phones! And even if I did have a cord, THERES NO LONGER A JACK TO PLUG IT INTO! The braniacs at Caldwell must have decided their app worked so well (which is clearly not the case, do a simple google search. The app NEVER works) that they dont need to even include a way to use a cord anymore. It powered up but will not connect to either an I phone or Samsung my phone will automatically close the app saying there is a bug within the app. I wish it came with the cord so I could try hooking it up that way but it doesn’t. I think now with the Bluetooth it’s a little fiddly to get set up but once you connect, it worked great. The only thing I didn’t like was it wouldn’t save my pellet choice like it used to.
