It never made it to the gear boxes though. The day after it arrived we got hit with a tropical storm that knocked out our power for several days. I used this flashlight non-stop it seemed. It was light and easy to carry around, I could easily recharge it from a power bank if needed and it was always handy and nearby if I needed to top off my phone. It now lives in my kitchen and gets used several times a week by someone in the house. My only complaint was the end cap. The water resistant flaps to cover the charging ports are ever so slightly rounded and are not recessed at all. Because of this, the flashlight has a hard time standing on its end.
