Although, my third time using the tent, the rain fly began tearing from the guy attachments in zero wind. So that's annoying. The dark room tech is a double edged sword... Nice when people are walking around n with flashlights. But it's bad when you're trying to wake up in the morning. It blocks out light as promised and is pretty easy to set up. We struggled a bit with clipping the center clips and putting on the rainfly, but that was mostly because we're both around 5'7\".\nThe size is also great — it comfortably fits two people with a double sleeping pad, all our gear, and still leaves room to move around!\nDefinitely recommend it if you want to sleep in a bit on your trip. The only thing that would make this tent better is a few more interior pockets and maybe a second window for added ventilation. After only a few uses in mild weather, both of the tent's rain flys have multiple holes in them, some the size of a nickel. So, the tent is no longer water proof rendering the tent pretty much useless. Original sundome tent was better for one key reason; the back window. The new design is poor as you don’t have option for back window; important for airflow. Also new design has tent poles attached to tent; I found this difficult to manage. I have used it nearly every year for around a week and a half total nights of camping at festivals since. It could use a second coat of water resistance at this point, and I cut the base (and my hand) with a broken mirror but it is SO fast to set up and SO good at blocking out the sun. I never want another tent. If I had to set this tent up by myself in under 10 min I am confident I could. I always have someone help me because with two people its seriously like two minuets. Break down is equally easy. I never once fit it back in the bag it came in but that may be a me problem. Its massively vertical for a dome tent and the perfect size (10x 8ft 6in) if you're someone like me who brings a lot of things and likes to setup a whole room inside your tent.
