It’s extremely sharp and I love how the blade is flat. It’s perfect for concealing/keeping against oneself. The handle is also extremely grippy. The blade is overall perfect and hits the point of exactly at what it was aimed to do. Be an extremely awesome, cost effective boot knife. I’d highly recommend. I've been carrying the Counter Tac I for about 1-2 years. I practice now and then with it. IWB with an ulti clip, strong side, vertical carry. It deploys as quick as you can blink. It profiles a little bit but has enough handle to be secure if I ever did have to use it. I would not have something smaller for self defense. The sheath doesn't allow the knife to come out even when running, and my knife is still razor sharp after practicing. 4 stars because I have had a few times where I could feel that this knife would come out of hand if hit with something heavy and hard in a fight. So, not good for parrying, deflecting, or fighting on defense. If in self defense mode, this is a 100% commit/attack weapon.
