Lightweight enough even with the steel auger. This thing is fantastic. One battery lasts me almost the entire day depending on how many holes. I would say you can get a solid 20 holes in 18 inches of ice. The only drawback that I've had is when the batteries are left out the cold they will Flash their LED indicators which apparently means that they're too cold to charge.
