Detailed work with the blade seems easy, due to it able to make \"scalpel sharp\" incisions (according to a medical professional) out of the box. It fell in between my drivers seat and console and remained hidden there for a while. When I found it, the sheath had several grooves formed in it, but that has not impeded it use as a sheath. Overall, this is a robust knife that fits into a great kit for use both in the field and at home. I absolutely love it! It is so comfortable in the hand and holds an edge very well. It’s lightweight but so sturdy feeling. I always take this as a back up for hunting and camping. I’ve used it in the kitchen a bit for veggies and meat, as well as to clean up game meat. \r\nIn my opinion, I’d be ok paying double for what they’re charging for this knife (not saying Coldsteel should up charge it lol). But that’s my opinion of this knife and wouldn’t mind buying a second to have on hand. \r\nOverall, a solid simple but great knife to own.
