It keeps the bait alive and is easy to handle. The pump did die after 3 years, mostly my fault for letting water get inside. Called Frabill and they sent me a new pump right away. Just killed my second pump and when I called to buy a new one they sent me another for free. Customer service from Frabill/Plano is awesome.
