Decided on this over Dillion due to price and recommendation by Scheels staff member who had extensive experience using both machines.\n\nAt first I had a few issues but did some research on YouTube and basically just went slower for the first few rounds to break in the machine. \n\nFrankford did a good job setting up machine out of the box. I didn’t have to adjust indexing but did need to adjust primer seating after inspecting first few rounds. After that things went smoothly with the exception of an occasional shell feed hang up entering the shell plate. \nNote, do not force the arm up or down! You will break something and I did, the shell feeder arm on the upstroke. Called customer service to buy another one and they sent me 3 for free! The CS responded quickly and were very helpful in recommending adjustment advice to correct the problem.\n\nMy advice to newcomers is take your time at first, don’t try pump out a 1000 rounds an hour right out of the box. I did 20 rounds at them tested them to make sure they worked. They all did perfectly. Unlike a friend of mine who now has a thousand un usable rounds lol.\n\nCS was great. Can’t get any better than that Scheels! I was looking at the 1050 but the $799.00 for what this press has to offer is worth it. This will be a dedicated 9mm press. Press, shell plate and swage hold down including taxes and shipping $938.00 at Scheels. Spent an additional $61for spare drop tubes, locator buttons, indexing arm, stage/primer pins and p- clips. $999.00 for everything. Take into account this press comes with a case feeder as well as the ability to swage before the priming station. The swage before the primer eliminates the mess and headaches caused by the rogue crimped 9mm cases. This is exactly what I was looking for on a press. Bearing near Cam shaft broken twice thus far. Priming system doesn't like Ginex or CCI primers, it crushes 4 out of hundred; and you have to take it all apart to try yo get rolling again. I have yet to run the press with all the stations more than 20rounds without stopping. I finally broke down and decided to give it a shot since it's capable of doing the same thing as presses twice the price and parts and aftermarket support are getting easier to find. \r\n\r\nI am so happy with how the press has preformed so far. The first ~100 rounds were rough and required tweaking here and there, but once those small issues were worked out, it's been a dream since then. I literally dream about it. \r\n\r\nI use it for 9mm, I got the bullet collator, a Mark 7 powder check, Redding competition dies, a Lyman hold down die for the priming spot. I had a Dillon Square Deal B before and I hope I never have to go back to it. At its core, the X-10 features rigid steel construction, multiple ball bearings, and a proprietary 10 station, gear driven, rotating shell plate which all combine to virtually eliminate powder spillage and bullet tipping. On Press swaging allows for removing primer pocket crimps from military style brass in one easy step. Compatible with both small and large primers a hold down die and swage rods are included.
