On the city bike trails with busy streets running parallel, it will drive you nuts picking up all the traffic (when I mute it).\nI am hard of hearing and biking into the wind, I can’t hear vehicles approaching me (especially on gravel roads). This really helps me out especially on gravel roads alerting me when a car is approaching and I’m not aware of it. Like a second set of eyes. \nThe only down side to this is that I cannot hear the alert tone at all when connected to my wahoo ELEMNT bolt (other cyclist can hear it though). So I open the Varia radar app and can hear it pretty well on my phone but I carry the phone in my rear jersey packet so Bluetooth it to a single earbud and it’s perfect. \nI also wish that it had two settings, one for in town and one for out of town where it would pick up cars farther away.
