After a deployment and some hard use around the property after a category 5 hurricane, I broke the tip. As it's very sentimental to me, I took that one and made a display of it. Bought my second one and broke the tip off in about one year. I reshaped and sharpened it and have used it for about 4 years. Unfortunately, the blad has grown shorter with sharpening, and it's time for number three. I will keep buying this blade until they stop making them. Only 4 stars because I have a Benchmade that is hands down the best (and too expensive) to use.
