It's slightly heavy, and I'd treat it as a midlayer, especially if you run hot. Having the wrists open to accommodate a watch is a nice touch. It's wearable for casual use or for athletic use, probably up to low 50s temps (and that might be pushing it)\n\nCurious decision to put the chest pocket on the interior of the shirt. This causes the smaller zipper to be on the inside, up against an undershirt or bare skin. I could definitely see a scenario in which a cross body bag against the zipper would cause irritation. TBD\n\nOf note: Hoka appears to be playing loose and fast with the new Glidetech series. This shirt has a 90% nylon outer shell, and a 90% recyled polyester internal fabric. Meanwhile, the Glidetech t-shirts (of which I bought two), are 85% recycled polyester and 15% cotton and feel slightly rougher to the touch. The Glidetech t-shirts are \"cut from dri-release cloth,\" which should be the same as the Essential Tee, except that is 85% polyester, 11% lyocell and 5% elastane.
