Definitely has a manufacture defect and will not be paying the $30 to ship it back to HOKA only for them to most likely deny the manufacture defect since I was denied my Skyline Float X for the same cheap material on the mesh outsole. I tried to return them, but Hoka denied my claim, citing \"normal wear and tear.\"\n\nI've owned several pairs of Hokas before and never had this issue. If this level of damage is now considered normal, then the quality has clearly declined. Sad that they don't come in more colorways, but can't imagine not having my backup pair for when I wear these out! Took a minute to get used to the high heel, but now I love them and can wear without socks. Sooo cushy and almost make this no -runner want to run!!! Only complaint (warning) is that they are EXTREMELY slippery on polished/wet surfaces!
