Its perfect for a 3-4 hikes with my dog and I carry the filter bottle(empty) in my pack in case I run out. The size, material, and handle are well thought out and the weight and collapsibility are awesome. Love my 2L Seeker and will buy more Hydrapak products in the future. The water tastes great. My only gripe is the challenge cleaning and, in particular, drying this container. Drying is a slow process and I live in a desert. I didn't want to carry a large collapsible bottle so I took this 2 L one with me. It's so easy and convenient to fill this one in streams/ rivers you can hold a bottle by the side handle and due to the wide 42 mm opening it's a breeze to fill in water there. I then clip a combo of different adapters: hydrapak Plug and Play adapter, hydrapak filter adapter, filter from peakgravity, and sawyer sp 150 coupling. Then I attach it to plastic water bottle and leave it or press on the bottle to speed up a process a little bit. So far this is a very convenient way to filter the water for me.
