It is more unwieldy when attached across the waist which is my preferred way of wearing. It is hard to separate a rating for the bag and the service but I will say paying for shipping and waiting 9 days to arrive was annoying and the bag is not worth the wait or paying for shipping. I get no bouncing or shifting while i run. this bag is so lightweight, when i wear it feels like it's not actually there!! I've been able to fill it to the brim(12oz water bottle, a croissant, wallet, tissue pack, protein bar) and also have barely anything in there, both times it still felt seamless. Fanny packs and other waist based carriers bother my stomach, so I wanted to try something new. The 2L bag is a great size for water and nutrition. It also has a pocket for the cell phone. With the extra strap, it stays snug and easy to run with. The only down side is the pack isn't easy to access. I need to walk (versus run) while opening the bag. But I can't remember anything that made me so happy the very first time I put it on, or that was so easy to get a good fit from, so quickly. My main use for this has been to stuff it with swimming gear (suit, goggles, a microfiber towel) so I can bike or run to and from the local Y, and it's been absolutely perfect for that. The stabilizing strap really keeps everything secure, and the padding on the back keeps it really comfortable and breathable even when it's stuffed to capacity. The internal pocket and clip are great for keys, phone, etc., and the additional bungee-d space behind the main pocket can even keep a slim bottle or soft flask secure and easy to access during runs.
