Now that my son also enjoys running and is signed up for running camp, it was a no-brainer to purchase his first pair of HOKA’s. The shoes are sturdy and cushiony as expected and the fit is great. Although they will be used solely for running, I let my son wear them to school for one day to break them in. I was surprised to see the sole of the shoes peel easily. The sole seems to scuff super easily with little balls of rubber coming off. My husband has not experienced this with his shoes and when I compared the many pairs of HOKA’s he has the materiel on my son’s shoes is definitely different. Considering the price for adult and kids shoes is the pretty much the same I was a little disappointed that the kids sneaker is not made with the same high quality as compared to the adult sneakers.
