This jacket is durable, well insulated, and waterproof (more like resistant). It will definitely last a season or two. Reima is also one of the more stylish manufacturers, and my wife and kids definitely like the options. \n\nI do have a couple complaints about this jacket though. . . . 1) It's made a size larger than their actual size, it throws you off when ordering, I wish they would make it true to fit, and let the purchaser decide if they want to order up or not. 2) There's no adjustability in the jacket, with growing kids, it would be nice to have the option to slightly adjust sleeve lengths 3) I don't love the sleeve/hand powder skirt (if that's what it's called?) Kids are finicky, this just gives them one more thing to complain about. \n\nAll and all it's a good jacket.
